alphabet poem

1. work in a small group. Choose a descriptive word as the title and theme of the poem, for example, FRIENDS.
2. Write the alphabet down the side of the paper.
3. Each line of the poem should have a word that begins with the letter on that line.
4. Use alliteration to make it interesting.
5. Brainstorm a list of descriptive words. Use a dictionary to find words related to the theme.
6. Revise the poem as a group.
7. Write your initials next to the lines you wrote.
